Jessica Louise Vinsant, M.D., has joined Premier Surgical Associates as a general surgeon in the group’s Tennova offices at North Knoxville Medical Center and Physicians Regional Medical Center. Premier, headquartered in Knoxville, Tenn., isVinsant the region’s largest surgical group.

Vinsant grew up in Knoxville before graduating from Syracuse University. She then earned her MBA from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, and her medical degree from Wright State’s Boonshoft School of Medicine. Dr. Vinsant completed her general surgery residency at East Tennessee State University’s Quillen College of Medicine.
Dr. Vinsant is the fourth generation of the Vinsant family to serve as a physician. “I come from a long line of physicians. My father, grandfather, and great-grandfather practiced for many years in Maryville and Knoxville,” says Dr. Vinsant. “I’m proud to join Premier Surgical and look forward to also serving patients in East Tennessee.”
Vinsant is now accepting referrals in general surgery.
