Premier Surgical Associates has named Tom White, PHR, as Director of Human Resources for the group’s Knoxville area and Cleveland, TN, offices. White is taking over the role with the retirement of Nelda Sparkman, who has served as Premier’s Human Resources Director since 1997.
White has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare Human Resources, previously serving at Tennova Healthcare and Summit Medical Group in Knoxville, as well as Maury Regional Medical Center and Blue Ridge Regional Hospital.

White’s duties include the oversight and planning of benefits, compensation analysis, employment relations, regulatory compliance, staffing and recruitment.
White lives in Knoxville and enjoys hiking, traveling and spending time with family.
