Premier Surgical Associates is the largest independent, General and Vascular surgery practice in East Tennessee. Our board-certified physicians perform a wide range of procedures, from routine outpatient surgeries to highly complex surgical interventions. Areas of expertise include hernia repair, gallbladder surgery, vascular disease treatment, surgical oncology and bariatric surgery,
The practice was founded in 1995 when fifteen Knoxville-area surgeons joined together to create a physician-leg surgical group dedicated to providing exception patient care.. Since then, Premier Surgical Associates has grown from a team of fifteen surgeons and a two dozen employees, to an organization of thirty-six surgeons and a staff members. Our geographic footprint has expanded well beyond Knoxville, with offices serving patients from Cleveland to Johnson City, Tennessee.
For more than three decades, Premier Surgical has been at the forefront of expanding access to surgical and vascular care throughout East Tennessee. The practice has developed specialty programs that address a broad range of health concerns including weight loss surgery, complex hernia treatment, varicose and spider veins, hemorrhoids and prosthetic limb replacement.
The Premier Vascular & Vein Center in Knoxville features state-of-the-art office-based vascular procedure rooms and an accredited on-site vascular ultrasound laboratory with eight ultrasound suites, allowing patients to receive comprehensive vascular care in one convenient location.
The state licensed and QUAD A-accredited Premier Surgery Center provides high-quality, affordable outpatient surgical care for patients with and without health insurance, delivering a safe and efficient alternative to hospital-based procedures.
