OFFICE MANAGER: Foothills Weight Loss Surgeons

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3 years’ office management and supervisory experience
  • A.S. or B.S. Degree preferred
  • Must be proficient with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and medical practice management software.
  • Experience with electronic health records

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Directs, supervises and coaches front office and clinical staff daily.
Identifies opportunities for improving service to patients.

Identifies opportunities for improving service to referring physicians.
Manages the flow of the clinic to insure compliance, efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Problem solves and addresses issues raised by physicians, employees, and patients.
Markets the practice in the local community and responsible for tracking all bariatric related sales (non-commission based)
Responsible for carrying out all established policies.

Engages with corporate office and other office managers on various projects.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
This position requires the following minimum requirements:

Knowledge of organization policies, procedures, systems, and objectives.
Knowledge of fiscal management and human resource management techniques.
Skill in planning, organizing, and supervising.
Skill in exercising initiative, judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making.
Skill in developing and maintaining effective relationships with hospital staff, patients, and the public.
Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
Ability to counsel/discipline personnel as requested or as may become necessary.
Ability to delegate authority, responsibility to other staff personnel as deemed necessary to perform their assigned duties.
Ability to handle information in a confidential manner.
