Cardiovascular Technician
Location: Premier Surgical on Papermill Drive
Full-time: Monday – Friday
The Cardiovascular Scrub Tech prepares surgical equipment, provides equipment to surgeons during procedures, uses proper techniques to ensure that the procedure rooms remain sterile, and performs other related tasks, such as:
- Assists in positioning of patients and adjusts table to proper position according to standard policies
- Assists in ordering, control, and maintenance of supplies and equipment
- Provides for continuity of patient care
- Assists in scheduling of operative procedures, maintains appropriate records and documentation as appropriate
- Other related job duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS / PREFERRED
- Certification in BLS / ACLS required
- At least 2 years’ experience as a Cath Lab scrub tech and/or Hybrid OR experience strongly preferred
- RCIS preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of Peripheral Vascular Cases / Vascular OR procedures preferred
