Norma M. Edwards, MD, FACS
Dr. Norma Edwards is a board-certified general surgeon with Premier Surgical at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. She specializes in laparoscopic and robotic surgery for a variety of conditions including acid reflux, colon cancer, gallbladder removal and hernia repair. She has completed more than 1,000 robotically-assisted surgeries.
Dr. Edwards is also skilled at minimally invasive techniques for appendectomies and splenectomies, helping patients benefit from reduced recovery times and improved outcomes.
Dr. Edwards performs surgeries both at Parkwest Medical Center and Premier Surgery Center in Knoxville. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and has been named a Cityview magazine “Top Doc”. Dr. Edwards joined Premier Surgical Associates in 2017 after practicing in Memphis for 8 years.
